Rising Destiny Application

Anana is a waterbender of the Northern Water Tribe. She wasn’t born into the tribe but appeared four years ago (at the age of ten) at the gates of the Palace on the winter solstice when there was also a solar eclipse. She had nothing with her but the clothes she was wearing the knowledge of her name and an incredible aptitude for water bending. After that, her memory is blank. She was examined by the wise woman of the tribe who has her suspicions that Anana is the daughter of Yue and the disciple of Katara’s spirit. However, Anana is curious and isn’t afraid to try new and innovative styles of bending, which lead to her ability to both freeze and heat water, but generally causes more harm than good. The conservative Northern Water tribe is at their wit’s end with her, and they can’t understand her inability to conform to their expectations. She works as a healer but mostly just trains, meditates and spends time with her friend Sesi (a descendant of Sokka). She is stubborn and serious, most of the time. She would side with the Avatar.

"Go," said Yue in all her might, "Go and teach the mortals the true meaning of water, for they have forgotten what it means to hold such an honor."
"But, mother," Anana sighed, "I like it up here with you and Sifu Katara and Sifu Korra!"
"We know," Yue smiled, her daughter had grown so strong, so beautiful since she was a baby. "But it is a sacrifice you must make." With that, she pushed a small package into Anana's hands and with a great gust of wind, knocked her off the cloud on which they sat. Looking down at her daughter's falling form, she caught her on a wave and sent her sailing off towards her old home, the palace of the Northern Water Tribe. "I love you," she whispered, then returned to her vantage point in the moon, but anyone who looked carefully that night would have noticed that the moon shone less brightly.
